How Often Should I get my Chimney Swept?

It all depends on the usage…You should have a chimney sweep at least once per year, but if you burn a lot, sometimes two or three times during the heating season – it all depends on various factors.

Every Chimney needs to be inspected annually.  An inspection will look for creosote buildup, cracks, and any defects.

Every dryer vent needs to be cleaned at least once a year.  Commercial dryer vents should be cleaned at least twice a year.
